Bob was born in Leflore County and grew up on a cattle ranch near Heavener, Oklahoma. He graduated from Carl Albert State College in 1991 with an Associate of Science degree and from Oklahoma State University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Bob worked 26 years in the Oil and Gas Industry as an Engineer. He has lived in Houston Texas, Lafayette Louisiana, Calgary Canada, and Tulsa Oklahoma. Bob currently resides in Poteau with his wife Sarah and their two children Bobby and Briley who attend Poteau Public School. Bob’s hobbies include hunting, fishing and attending his kids sporting events. He currently manages over 2000 acres of timberland for timber production and wildlife habitat enhancement and continues to work on the ranch that his family started over 80 years ago.
